MELVINDALE — A woman with nine previous incidents of vandalism and harassment of fellow residents at Gale Gardens Apartments was arrested and jailed the night of Oct. 14 after she kicked open a resident’s locked apartment door, destroying the lock and door jamb.
The most recent victim said she scared the woman off when she told her that she had videotaped her breaking into her apartment while she was in residence.
Police officers, armed with a description of the woman, found her near the railroad viaduct on Outer Drive near Gale Gardens.
She refused to cooperate with booking procedures and did not confirm her legal name or other information. She was charged with residential home invasion, breaking and entering, and burglary with forced entry.
