RIVERVIEW — Voters in Riverview re-elected Councilman Dean Workman and elected two new faces to the city council in Rita Gunaga and David Robbins. Incumbent James Trombley finished six votes out of the running.
Unofficial results from the Nov. 2 general election showed that Workman received 1,253 votes, Gunaga 1,135 and Robbins 1,121 votes. Trombley received 1,115 votes.
Candidates Theo Makarounas and April Bieganski each finished with 797 and 642 votes, respectively.
According to the Riverview City Council office, no request for a re-count of the election results had been filed as of publication.
