DEARBORN — A Detroit woman with a felony arrest warrant with the Michigan State Police for fleeing and eluding was taken into custody the morning of Nov. 2 at a hotel on Michigan Avenue, following an interior check of the building, which included a check of the registered guests’ names.
At the time she was identified, she was watching two of her friend’s children, so an officer remained with the children until their mother arrived to pick them up.
The woman was taken to the Dearborn police station, where she was searched and held while waiting for the MSP to take her into custody.
