LINCOLN PARK — A Lincoln Park man reported on Nov. 16 that an identity thief set in motion a scheme to have three fraudulent checks generated, which they subsequently cashed, using the victim’s name and identity information.
A Nov. 1 check was issued by Primerica Life Insurance Company, and two Nov. 9 checks were issued by Adams Keegan Inc., a human resources company.
The victim had contacted the companies who issued the fraudulent checks in his name. There were no suspects.
