DEARBORN — A Dearborn man with multiple outstanding warrants was arrested the night of Nov. 23 following a traffic stop at Warren Avenue and Mead Street for having an illegal flashing strobe light on the front of his black 2013 BMW 328i hybrid electric vehicle.
A record check revealed that the vehicle was uninsured and his driver’s license was suspended. In addition, he was not wearing his seatbelt, which was buckled behind him.
He advised the police officer that he was carrying a Ruger 9-millimeter pistol, for which he had a concealed pistol license.
He was arrested, his car was impounded and towed, and his gun was secured. He was taken to the Dearborn police station, where he was booked and held.
