DEARBORN — A Dearborn man in a gray 2019 Hyundai Genesis was cited for reckless driving the afternoon of Nov. 22 after a police officer saw him speeding east on Michigan Avenue near Tenny Street, weaving in and out of traffic lanes without signaling, tailgating and using the center turn lane to pass.

The driver excused his driving by saying his vehicle “was overheating.”

During the traffic stop, another motorist stopped and told the police officer that he had seen the driver run a red light earlier.

The driver was advised of court procedures and released at the scene.
