HEIGHTS — Police responded to a house in the 27100 block of Ford Road Nov. 10 for a shattered sliding glass door. She went to sleep about 10 p.m. Nov. 9 and said the damage would’ve happened overnight but she didn’t hear or see anything.

The officer reported seeing small pieces on the inside and outside of the house, the back door to be in the locked, and bricks stacked in rows and columns near the glass door. According to the report, the resident said no bricks appeared to be moved or missing.

The woman didn’t notice anything missing from the house and does not believe anyone entered the house. She said she was not sure if someone broke the window or if the damage was caused by the weather.

The resident said the damage to the glass door would cost approximately $7,000 to $9,000 to fix.
