MELVINDALE — A 24-year-old Ecorse woman faces a concealed weapons charge for having a semi-automatic pistol under the seat of her car without having a concealed pistol license of record in her name. Ammunition was also confiscated.
She was subject to a traffic stop at Outer Drive and Harmon Street the morning of Dec. 6 for driving an uninsured vehicle.
The vehicle, a red 2010 Chrysler 300, was impounded, and the driver was taken to the Dearborn police station for booking on the weapons charge.
