LINCOLN PARK — No suspects have been arrested in the Dec. 28 targeted shooting that killed a 39-year-old River Rouge man and seriously injured another person.

Police officers received reports of shots being fired at 8:50 p.m. Dec. 28 in the 500 block of Southfield Road near Applewood Avenue, near a tobacco shop.

Police Chief Ray Watters said it appeared that the shooting was not a random incident, and that the victims were targeted. The shootings remains under investigation.
