MELVINDALE — A 25-year-old Detroit woman who paid a $100 deposit by credit card for a Feb. 4 birthday party at Play Atlantis amusement center, 19400 Allen Road, fled without paying the $231 balance owed after a verbal altercation occurred among the attendees and they all abruptly left the location.
When an employee sought payment for the food, beverages and game tokens, she discovered that they had all left the establishment.
Phone calls to the cell phone associated with the booking were ignored. The address and other information for the female suspect were confirmed with a record check of the Law Enforcement Information Network.
