DEARBORN — A 25-year-old Dearborn man who was caught the morning of Feb. 2 with the merchandise he allegedly stole from Sunoco, 5074 Greenfield Road, was found to have other contraband in his possession, as well as outstanding arrest warrants.

An employee of Sunoco said the man stole a drink, hat and gloves from the gas station, and took off on a mountain bike.

Police officers found the man nearby and recovered the merchandise, returning the items to the store, where the employee declined to press charges, but said he wanted the man banned from the business.

The man, who was taken to the police station, was found to have four Michigan driver’s licenses that did not belong to him in his possession, as well as a Visa debit card that was not in his name.
