RIVERVIEW — A SMART bus shelter, bicycle rack and sign on southbound Fort Street south of Williamsburg Drive were damaged the afternoon of Feb. 17 by a driver in a red pickup whom a witness said fled the scene after striking the structures.
Police officers checked the area, but were unable to locate a pickup matching the witness’ description. Police dispatch personnel informed SMART officials of the shelter damage.
