DEARBORN — Dearborn’s three traditional high schools are planning homecoming events this fall, and for the first time in three years, the public is invited to attend.
Fordson High School, 13800 Ford Road, is first up this year with the homecoming game set for 7 p.m. Sept. 16. A homecoming parade through the neighborhood will precede the game at 4 p.m. The parade will travel along Alber and Neckel streets and end up on Horger.
The Fordson Tractors will take on Westland John Glenn at 7 p.m.
Dearborn and Edsel Ford high schools will have Homecoming games on Oct. 7. DHS is planning a parade to start at 5 p.m. that day.
The parade will leave from the student parking lot across the street from the high school, 19501 W. Outer Drive. The parade will travel north on South York, south on Fordson to South Highland, north to Marshall, east on Marshall onto South York and back to Outer Drive.
The Dearborn High Pioneers will also take on Westland John Glenn at 7 p.m.
Edsel Ford’s homecoming game will start at 7 p.m. Oct. 7 when the Thunderbirds takes on Trenton.
The parades will feature marching bands, homecoming courts, floats and student groups.
All three Homecoming games will also be broadcast on the NFHS Network streaming service.
