The Dearborn Heights Police Department swore in two new officers at the city council meeting Sept. 27. Officers Amy Kidle (above right) and Abraham Ouza (below left) were sworn in by City Clerk Lynne Senia before receiving their badges from family members. Kidle received hers from her son Lucas; and Ouza received his from his father, Haidar. Kidle has been with the Police Department for almost three years as a dispatcher. Ouza previously served as an officer with the Wayne County Airport Authority.
