Dunworth, Ford Woods pools will remain open through Labor Day
DEARBORN — Three of Dearborn’s neighborhood pools — Lapeer, Summer Stephens and Ten Eyck — will close for the season at 6 p.m. Aug. 13.
Ford Woods and Dunworth outdoor pools will continue to operate through Labor Day weekend before closing for the season on Sept. 4. Beginning Aug. 14, both pools will offer open swimming from 4 to 7 p.m. weekdays, and from noon to 6 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and Labor Day.
Dunworth Pool will be temporarily closed to the public on Aug. 18 but will resume normal operating hours on Aug. 19.
Patrons can continue to enjoy the city’s splash pads at Crowley, Hemlock and Whitmore-Bolles parks into September, weather permitting. All indoor city pools will also continue to operate throughout the year.
All swimmers must either pay a daily admission fee or present a seasonal pool tag, available at the Service Desk of the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center weekdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
