ALLEN PARK — A man who filled his pockets with $78 worth of merchandise April 11 at Meijer, 3565 Fairlane Drive, was detained by loss prevention personnel when he attempted to leave the store without paying for the items.
The man attempted to steal tape, super glue, a stapler and a four-piece Minecraft set.
The shoplifting incident was recorded on store surveillance cameras.
He was cited for third degree retail fraud and released at the scene.
