September 19, 2009 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

TAYLOR — Metro Detroit Share Group, a Michigan nonprofit organization, will hold a walk event to provide pregnancy and infant loss resources at no charge for families who endure the tragedy of losing a child at any stage during pregnancy or during infancy.

The event — Share Walk for Remembrance & Hope — is set for Oct. 4 in Pavilion B in Heritage Park.

The walk is open at no cost to participants. Registration will begin at noon. A service, with the theme “We walk for the steps they will never take,” will begin at 1 p.m., followed by the walk at 2 p.m. and a luncheon.

Donations are appreciated and can be made online at www.metrodetroitsharegroup.com. T-shirts are available for preorder on the Web site as well.
