Del and Moro are the last of 28 Himalayan cats rescued from a one-bedroom apartment Aug. 12. The 4-year-old neutered males are plain point Himalayans. Wyandotte Animal Pound volunteers say the two were very skittish when they first arrived there, but now are very friendly. The cats were not used to being touched, but volunteers say they now come forward when their cage is opened and will push their heads into a worker’s hands to be petted. Cat adoption fees are $60 cash and include spaying or neutering, the first distemper vaccine, a combo test and a rabies vaccine if the animal is old enough. Cat adopters either should bring a carrier or purchase a cardboard one from the shelter for $5. The pound is at 1170 Grove, between 11th and 13th streets. Adoption hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.
