Charisma has it
Charisma is a gentle 5-year-old black lab mix. She was rescued as a stray in Wyandotte. She prefers to be with docile dogs, not rowdy ones. She has been spayed and vaccinated.

Fiona gets along with cats, people
Fiona is a 1-year-old terrier shepherd mix. She is a very sweet, affectionate dog who is good with people. Volunteers believe she would do best in a house without any other dogs and say she is OK with cats. She is spayed and up-to-date with her shots.

Fiddler is a friendly fellow
Fiddler, a 2-year-old, is a friendly dog who was rescued as a stray. He was found unneutered, underweight and without dog tags. He is a yellow Labrador retriever mix who passed his temperament assessment test with flying colors. Volunteers found out April 2 that his tests were heartworm positive, so he will need a treatment that costs about $800. They plan to hold an online fundraiser to raise money for his treatment. He has not yet been neutered.
Dog adoption fees are $85 (in cash) and include spaying/neutering, first distemper vaccine and a rabies vaccine and heartworm test if the animal is old enough. The Wyandotte Animal Pound is at 1170 Grove, between 11th and 13th. Adoption hours are 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.
