October 16, 2010 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

TAYLOR — The Junior League Baseball World Series will benefit from a bowling outing on Friday at Skore Lanes at 22255 Ecorse Road.

Check-in begins at 8:30 p.m.; bowling starts at 9:30 p.m.

Participants will bowl three no-tap games, and pizza will be served. The night also includes a silent auction, 50-50 raffles and lots of fun, organizers say.

The entry fee is $22 with all proceeds going to the JLWS for the best teams of 13- and 14-year-old players held at Heritage Park.

For tickets or more information on the bowling fundraiser call Steve Das at (734) 709-2193 or Phil Bzura at (734) 306-3114. For more on the JLWS go to www.cityoftaylor.com/worldseries.
