TAYLOR — The Information Center Inc. will host a quarter auction Christmas fundraiser, Quarter-Vendor Mania, Dec. 18 at Taylor Moose Lodge 887, 9981 Telegraph Road.
Numbered paddles — with four quarters per paddle — are $3 for one, $5 for two, $8 for three, and $2 for each paddle above three. Paddles and numbers can be reserved at www.quartermaniami.eventbrite.com.
Participants bid from one to four quarters on vendor items, depending on the retail value: one quarter for items valued under $20, two quarters for items valued from $20 to $50, three quarters for items valued from $51 to $75, and four quarters for items valued at $76 and higher.
Once all bids are placed, random numbers are drawn for each item until a bidder’s paddle number is chosen.
Doors open at 6 p.m. for viewing. The auction will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Adults are welcome.
Vendors include Scentsy, PartyLite, Miche Bags, Lia Sophia, Pampered Chef, Pure Romance, Tastefully Simple, Thirty-One, Tupperware, Ogami Owl and Vault Denim Jeans.
