TAYLOR — Police are looking for two or three men in connection with a series of robberies this month at stores along Telegraph Road.
Both a Verizon Wireless and a Radio Shack outlet were hit by armed robbers: Three men reportedly entered the cellular store at 9895 Telegraph with rifles and left with cash about 11:45 a.m. Monday; two men robbed Radio Shack, 7860 Telegraph, shortly before it closed at 9 p.m.
The robberies were similar to a reported hold-up at T-Mobile, 8237 Telegraph, at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4. Three black men took money and a purse from a customer.
Police did not make public descriptions of the men or vehicles used, and continue to collect information on the suspects. It was not confirmed if the police believe the same suspects committed all three robberies, along with a similar holdup last month at Check & Go, 9125 Telegraph, and are working with neighboring departments and local business groups. Anyone with information is asked to call Taylor police at 734-287-6611.
