WYANDOTTE — Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital’s Center for Rehabilitation
Fund may soon have the ability to raise additional funds through licensed gaming events.

The center has proposed the city of Wyandotte recognize it as a nonprofit organization in the community allowing it to operate as a local civic organization, such as the American Cancer Society, Rotary International and Boy Scouts of America.

Noreen Cullum, Center for Rehabilitation Fund committee member, said the reason for this move is the ability to expand fundraising efforts into already established events.
