Photo by Amy Knowles. Allen Park firefighters extinguished a car fire at Southfield Road and Roosevelt Tuesday afternoon. The driver of the car was heading south on Southfield when flames engulfed the vehicle. The driver was not injured and the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
