HEIGHTS — It will be no-holds-barred in the main event of a professional wrestling exhibition to benefit St. Sebastian Catholic Church Sept. 16.

The matches will be held in the gymnasium at St. Sebastian, 3965 Merrick. Doors will open at 7 p.m. with matches starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5, with proceeds going to the church.

The featured bout will be a rematch between WWE and NXT national superstar Rhino and Vinnie Scarboni. After outside interference led to a cheating win for Scarboni over Rhino in their last match at St. Sebastian, Rhino has demanded that their rematch be a “no holds barred” match – no disqualifications, no countouts, anything goes, and falls count anywhere in Dearborn Heights.

Rhino grew up in Dearborn Heights as Terry Gerin and still resides locally. He said he will try to send his hometown crowd home happy with a victory over the rugged Scarboni, who will be accompanied at ringside by Truth Martini and Frankie the Arms.

Malcolm Monroe III will take on John E. Bravo in the co-feature. Also, ringside manager Handsome Johnny Bradford of Dearborn will accompany the massive Papa Dingo to the ring for an open challenge.

Honorary commissioner for the night will be Wayne County Commission Chairman Gary Woronchak.
