TRENTON — An employee of American Textile Recycling Service called police to 4350 W. Jefferson March 17 after discovering locking mechanisms on both clothing donation bins had been broken off.

The employee said the last time the bins had been checked was March 12.

According to the report, the employee is working with Michigan State Police in reference to multiple bins being damaged in other areas.

Repairing both bins would cost approximately $3,000, the employee said. It was unsure if anything was taken due to it being a clothing donation bin.
