Co-worker might have broken into employee’s car

TAYLOR — Surveillance footage April 7 at The Oakwood Group’s manufacturing facility, at 9755 Inkster Road, led investigating police officers to conclude that a fellow employee likely smashed a car window and stole cash and a Detroit Pistons ball cap from a parked vehicle.

Since the surveillance footage did not show the dark colored SUV-crossover entering the lot, they concluded it had been parked in the lot much earlier. A manager agreed to forward footage to the detective bureau.
