TRENTON — Police spoke with a resident who said she received a subpoena from 33rd District Court March 23 for having a delinquent Discover credit card for an account she said she did not open.
The total on the account was $7,705.57. When she checked her credit report, it showed that there was an open credit card account from Discover but it was closed before she could cancel the account.
She said the account was opened in June 2019 and provided the last four digits of the card to police for evidence. The resident was provided with a case number for the incident.
