Walking on broken glass

WYANDOTTE — Two intoxicated women, one with a bleeding arm, were found at 2:30 a.m. June 20 in the 600 block of Vinewood, standing outside of a residence, surrounded by broken glass from a nearby shattered window.

Both women, who had consumed alcohol and edible cannabis, were unable to answer questions or complete a coherent sentence due to their level of intoxication.

The police officers made sure the wounded woman received medical treatment, and both women were sent indoors to sober up, hopefully ending the disturbance which initiated the call.

The officers tried to talk to a man inside the residence, but he shouted, “I know my rights,” and refused to speak with the police officers.
