Drunken driver who killed girl faces competency hearing

TAYLOR — The 20-year-old Taylor man whose alleged drunken and reckless driving killed a 12-year-old girl and injured a 45-year-old woman, both of Allen Park Feb. 3 faces a July 26 competency hearing in Taylor’s 23rd District Court.

Noah Damron faces charges of reckless driving causing death and serious impairment; operating while intoxicated, causing death and serious impairment; carrying a concealed weapon; and four felony firearm counts.
