TRENTON — Amaria Hall, 18, of Trenton, reported missing since July 2019, is safe and in good health after being missing for two years, police said.

The Police Department initiated an investigation into her disappearance where numerous leads were pursued and several partnering agencies were involved.

On Aug. 2, a Facebook post from the department confirmed the news that Hall was located.

A lead investigator met with Hall and her attorney July 31. Hall’s mother, April Hall, was notified of the news, police said.

“Out of respect for the privacy of Amaria, who is now 18 years of age, and the judicial process, which lies in the hands of the 3rd Judicial Circuit, juvenile division, no further details will be provided,” the Facebook post read.

At the time of her disappearance, Amaria Hall was 16 and described as 5 feet 1 inch tall weighing 120. She was last seen in Trenton July 7, 2019; Crime Stoppers placed a $10,000 reward for tips on Amaria Hall’s whereabouts.

The 2019 news bulletin with information on Hall said she has had many health issues in the past four years including depression and high anxiety.

April Hall was concerned that her daughter might have been a victim of human trafficking when she went missing. No further information was provided by police.
