WYANDOTTE — A 35-year-old Woodhaven woman was taken into custody the night of Aug. 11 after she started destroying her host’s furniture in an liquor-fueled rampage in the 2700 block of Biddle Avenue.

The homeowner said the woman was drinking alcohol at her house, and refused to leave after flipping a table on its side and damaging other household items.

Police officers gave the woman an opportunity to leave the house voluntarily, but she defied any attempts to procure a ride home for her.

When the police officers then attempted to arrest her, she began struggling with them, and was quickly handcuffed.

She was belligerent and uncooperative throughout the booking process, and later urinated on the floor of her cell to protest her incarceration.

She was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting and obstructing police, and malicious destruction of property.
