WYANDOTTE — A woman was arrested for operating while intoxicated Nov. 6 after a police officer saw her run two red lights on Biddle Avenue while driving 67 mph in a 35 mph zone.

The woman, who smelled of intoxicants, said she had been drinking with friends in downtown Wyandotte. The woman failed multiple field sobriety tests.

A preliminary breath test was administered, and the woman had a blood-alcohol content of 0.23, nearly three-times than the 0.08 limit for legally drunk in Michigan.

Her vehicle was impounded and towed, and she was booked and held.
