TAYLOR —A former friend’s fraudulent use of his lifelong buddy’s credit card account Nov. 25 may have damaged the strained relationship irrevocably, the victim, a 19-year-old Taylor man said.

The reporting party said that two transactions, for $336 and for $166, were charge to his Huntington Bank credit card through his X-Box and Microsoft accounts, which he said he had downloaded to his ex-buddy’s gaming system while they were still friends.

He said no one else had access to his account, and his former friend was not answering his phone.

The victim said he needs a police report to contest the charges with his credit card company, and he would like to pursue charges in this matter. He was advised to shut down or change his account access information.
