TAYLOR — Police were dispatched to a house in the 5800 block of Jackson Jan. 8 for a stolen silver Chevy Cruze.
The victim said she parked the vehicle in her driveway about 1:30 a.m., and three hours later she went to start the vehicle and noticed it was stolen.
No one else had permission to take the Cruze, and she only has one set of keys, which were in her possession. She said she locks the Cruze at night; however, the front driver side door was having mechanical issues and had not been locking.
The Cruze has a pink decal sicker in block lettering on the back of the truck that reads “pink princess.” The front bumper on the driver’s side of has a crack from a previous collision.
Police entered the Cruze into the Law Enforcement Information Network as stolen.
