WYANDOTTE — A 25-year-old Detroit man was arrested Jan. 18 for carrying a concealed weapon, which was discovered during a traffic stop initiated by his running a red light at Biddle Avenue and Emmons Boulevard.
When a police officer approached the man’s vehicle, he saw him reaching under the seat of the car, and the officer ordered both the driver and passenger to immediately show their hands.
During a subsequent search of the vehicle, the police officer discovered a loaded handgun under the driver’s seat, which led to the concealed weapon charge.
