WYANDOTTE — A 22-year-old Southgate woman was arrested the night of Feb. 21 following a traffic stop prompted by her speeding past a marked police car on southbound Fort Street.

The woman, who had never acquired a driver’s license, did not have insurance for her vehicle.

She was argumentative, and refused to cooperative with the officer, despite his repeated attempts to de-escalate the situation.

The car was impounded for lack of insurance. Because the woman refused to exit her vehicle, she was arrested for obstructing police, driving without a valid license and operating without vehicle insurance.
