MELVINDALE — Two guests at Red Roof Inn, 17600 Dix Ave., were evicted Feb. 25 after security footage revealed them damaging a vending machine in an attempt to retrieve their money from the coin slot when the machine failed to deliver product.
No charges were pressed, but police officers stood by while the couple packed their bags and left the premises. They were advised on their civil court options should they choose to seek redress.
