Taylor police arrested Jewell Dechone Love II in connection to a recent theft at a local jewelry store where he allegedly stole a diamond ring. According to the department’s Facebook page, officers were alerted to the scene but Love had already fled. Police later were able to identify Love, locate him and arrest him. He was out on parole at the time of the robbery but is now charged with first degree retail fraud and is being housed at the Wayne County Jail.
