LINCOLN PARK — A 54-year-old Lincoln Park woman who had recently applied for credit at three local car dealerships reported March 7 that she suspects that someone with access to her financial information used it Jan. 20 to apply for a Capital One credit card.

The victim said she was able to cancel the card before any charges were made. She said when she contacted CreditWise at Capitol One, she learned that a woman in Louisiana had accessed her personal financial information.
