RIVERVIEW — A silver Yukon seen with an expired license plate June 5 led to a traffic stop on Pennsylvania Road near Perry Place that revealed the vehicle was uninsured and the driver’s license had been suspended multiple times.

The driver also had active arrest warrants out of Allen Park and Detroit.

The metal license plate was removed from the vehicle and set aside for destruction, and a temporary paper plate was issued. The Yukon was then impounded and towed.

The driver was cited for driving with a suspended license, and was given a courtesy ride to his residence.
