SOUTHGATE – Mills Gymnastics, 14400 Dix-Toledo Road, was granted a conditional use approval for a children’s activity center and playscape as part of its state-licensed summer day camp program.

Mills has begun constructing a playscape on the northeast corner of its property, a conditional use within the city’s C-1 community business district. The planning commission recommended ornamental metal fencing surround the playscape, as opposed to the chain link fencing originally proposed.

The City Council approved the planning commission’s recommendation at its July 20 meeting.
