MELVINDALE — A white 2012 Ford Econoline E250 van with a Georgia license plate was reported stolen the morning of Sept. 14 from the parking lot of Red Roof Inn, 17600 Dix Ave.

The victim said he last saw the vehicle at 7 p.m. the night before. He said he paid cash for the vehicle, so it wasn’t repossessed, and said the vehicle keys were still in his possession. He said he is staying at the hotel while working in the area.
