RIVERVIEW — The catalytic converter was cut off the undercarriage of a blue 2009 Ford Escape between 8 p.m. Oct. 26 and 8:30 a.m. Oct. 27 while it was parked in an apartment complex parking lot in the 19800 block of Fort Street.
The victim said that when his girlfriend started the vehicle that morning to go to work, she heard a loud noise and knew something was wrong.
The responding police officer took photos and submitted them into evidence.
