ALLEN PARK — Two men scammed a cashier Nov. 4 at Culver’s restaurant, 15655 Southfield Road, by confusing the cashier when paying for their $26 carryout order.

The men initially offered a $50 bill, then asked for it back and offered a $100 bill in exchange for five $20 bills. They confused the cashier by grabbing money out of his hand, and eventually walked out with an additional $150 cash, and didn’t bother to take their carryout food order.

The two men, black males in their mid-20s, left in a tan Honda Civic. The incident was captured on surveillance camera footage and will be provided to the police detective bureau.
