ALLEN PARK — Two men fled with a shopping cart full of work boots and work clothes, valued at more than $500, the evening of Nov. 17 at Meijer, 3565 Fairlane Drive.
When the shopping cart wheels locked up when the men set off security alarms upon exiting the building, they physically picked up the cart and carried it to their getaway vehicle.
The men were described as white, with dark hair and black coats, and were not known members of an organized retail crime ring.
