DEARBORN — A 27-year-old Dearborn man with a suspended driver’s license was arrested the afternoon of Dec. 1 for speeding on eastbound Michigan Avenue near Evergreen after a police officer measured him driving 80 mph in a 45-mph zone.

The man, who said he was headed back to work after picking up a part, had outstanding arrest warrants. His red 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee was impounded and towed and he was taken into custody. After posting bond, he was told to contact 19th District Court for an appearance date.
