HEIGHTS — A data leak at a medical equipment company resulted in an unsuccessful attempt by an identity thief on Dec. 10 to change the email and address on a woman’s bank accounts.
The victim, a 63-year-old woman, reported that she had not lost any money, but wished to document the attempt. There were no suspects.
