DEARBORN — A 30-year-old Detroit man with an expired license plate on the black 2006 Toyota Avalon he was driving on Jan. 1 was found to have an invalid driver’s license, no proof of insurance and active arrest warrants when a traffic stop was conducted on eastbound Warren Avenue west of Bingham Street.

The man was taken into custody for the active warrants, and the owner of the vehicle was allowed to retrieve the vehicle.
