LINCOLN PARK — Work tools valued at more than $950, which were stolen Dec. 27 from a white 2015 Mercedes Benz Sprint van parked in the 1600 block of Ethel Avenue, were found displayed Jan. 5 in an area pawn shop.

The victim, a 39-year-old Lincoln Park woman, was told to produce evidence of the tool serial numbers, since none of the items on display in the pawn shop were engraved with her name or any distinctive markings.

Among the items stolen were two green Metabo roofing guns, two yellow Dewalt drills and a green Metabo framing gun. There was no surveillance camera footage from the theft and no suspects.
